Neha Rawat

• An engineer by degree and a storyteller at heart, I was leading a stable life as a software professional before considering the dreamlike possibilities of an art-based career. I launched my freelancing journey of creating custom illustrations, comics, and merchandise. In late 2019, I discovered my love for children’s books and expanded my knowledge and skills by joining SCBWI and SVSLearn. 

  I was awarded the Grand Prize at the SCBWI Summer 2020 Portfolio Showcase and selected as the SCBWI Featured Illustrator for October 2022.

  I am currently learning the art of writing for children and hope to share my own stories with the world soon.

  In my spare time, I can be found cuddling dogs, doing yoga, playing board games, and being close to nature.
