Nina Mata

• I grew up as a typical latchkey kid from Queens, New York. My family emigrated from the Philippines when I was 6 years old. Because my parents worked and went to night school, I spent a lot (like a whole lot) of time drawing. My after school activities usually involved watching Bob Ross, Reading Rainbow and finding adventure in books.

  I studied Illustration at The Fashion Institute of Technology of NY. 
  I currently live in New Jersey with my husband Aaron, our daughter and Tabi, our cat.
