Diana Toledano is an illustrator, writer and educator. She is also a Pisces who loves books, patterns, and dancing her heart out.
Originally from Spain, Diana (pronounced Dee-Anna) grew up in Madrid, where she studied Art History and Illustration. Now she lives in California with her little bilingual family and two cats.
Diana enjoys playing with different techniques to create detailed mixed media illustrations. She is fascinated by deep stories that offer every child a place of refuge and wonder. And she is always inspired by the beauty of nature.
Diana’s products and books have been sold all over the world. She has illustrated many titles, including the chapter book series POLLY DIAMOND, the picture book ONE SNOWY DAY, and the non-fiction biography DRESSING UP THE STARS.
With a background in museum education, Diana loves doing school visits and teaching workshops for adults.
